Involves us in facilitating workshops in order to undertake a structured review at key project stages, to ascertain that the project is meeting the functional requirements of the brief and providing value for money.

Procurement & Contractual Advice

Upon reviewing client objectives in relation to cost, design, workmanship and programme, we provide recommendations in relation to the optimum procurement route to best achieve these objectives.

Measurement, Contract Preparation & Evaluation

We prepare and measure bills of quantities, employer's requirements, schedules of work and draft contract documents to reduce risk of costly mistakes, including tailor made contracts or amendments to standard form contracts.

Client Protection

We provide advice and guidance in relation to insurance, bonds, warranty arrangements, liquidated damages, sectional completion, performance related work and preliminaries. We can draft suitable provisions and apply on the clients behalf in order to protect their interests.

Financial Control

It is essential to have financial monitoring and control of projects which we carryout on behalf of our clients. We report on a regular basis to control project expenditure which typically includes: preparing valuations of work executed for the purpose of making interim payments; valuing variations to contract; issuing regular financial statements which predict the final construction costs and; agreeing the contractor's final account.

Project Management

Our planning, co-ordination and control of the project is designed to meet our client's requirements in order to produce a functional and financially viable project, to be completed on time within the authorised cost and to the required standards. Our role of project manager may take the form of employer's agent, construction manager and contract administrator under the many different standard form contracts.
